An Equine Evening at the Expo
The second annual "Equine Evening at the Expo" will be held at 6 p.m.
The event will feature three presentations by faculty and staff members of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine:
"Horse Cloning -- State of the Art," by Katrin Hinrichs.
"Piroplasmosis and Your Horse," by Tracy Norman.
"Hoof Trimming Fundamentals," by farrier Jason Maki, CJF, RJF.
To register for the free event, call the Brazos County Extension Office at (979) 823-0129 or email e-zimmerman@tamu.edu before 4 p.m. March 19. Dinner will be provided for those who register, courtesy of the Brazos Extension Horse Committee.
The evening is sponsored the A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, the A&M Animal Science Equine Science Section and the Brazos Extension Horse Committee.Â
